  Center City apartments are still in high demand

Luxury apartments called "The Grande", at 111 S. 15th Street (S.E. corner of 15th Street and Chesnut Street), has open on June 26, 2003 in Center City…
…"The Grande" has given four Old City furniture stores, each owned by a veteran interior designer, one unit each to furnish. They will use them as an extension of their showrooms for the next six weeks.

Bernadette Lawler of Mixed Company described her creation as "Asian meets '70s Pucci style".

Meltem Birey, owner of Flotsam + Jetsam, furnished one with an "eclectic mix of textures and materials" and original artwork by Philadelphia sculptor Michael Biello.

Juliette Brody, of Minima, did one with imported Italian furniture. And Ken Foster, of Foster's Urban Home, created a "hip bachelor pad" …
