Around
the corner at Mixed Company (60 N. 3rd St., 215.627.8688),
owner Bernadette Lawler just added designer Maki
Yamamoto's sheer curtain confection to her gallery's
assortment of modern art, French antiques, and mod vintage
furnishings. Lawler's biannual trips to France plus regular
visit to New York City keep her on the cuting edge of the
interior design world. In a word, she's got a knack for
gathering antiques just before they're condidered antiques,
and finding artists before they hit it big.
